Divine Mercy Novena & Feast
The Divine Mercy Ministry thanks everyone who prayed the Divine Mercy novena and celebrated the feast mass with us here at Holy Spirit.
Special thanks to the Knights of Columbus, Holy Spirit School, and Holy Spirit Youth Ministry for their participation.
We are grateful for Tribu Grill and Elite Bakery for sponsoring the food and cake for the reception that followed the Feast of Divine Mercy mass on Sunday, April 7th.

Walk for Life West Coast
Fr. Binh Ha and many of our parishioners participated in the annual event upholding the sanctity of life from conception to natural death.
Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone opened the rally with Mass at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption.
Despite the rain, thousands of people attended the rally and walked in peaceful protest against abortion. Archbishop Cordileone said: “The heavens are shedding tears of joy to see all of you here standing for life!”

Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship
Ten boys and girls from Fremont, Union City, and Newark, ages 9 to 14, were named local champions of the 2023 KoC Free Throw Championship. George A. Coit Council 2692-Fremont sponsored the competion here at our parish.
And the champions are … 9-year-old bracket: Alessandro Bianco (boys); 10-year-old bracket: Abby Mariveles (girls) and Eljay Boado (boys); 11-year-old bracket: Harika Kalluri (girls) and Daniel Bauyee (boys); 12-year-old bracket: Jonah Alano (boys); 13-year-old bracket: Jewel Canio (girls) and Makoa Naraval (boys); and 14-year-old bracket: Chloe Sunarto (girls) and Alden Visitacion (boys).
