Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (Ages 3-9)
The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a catechetical program for children ages 3-9. It is a reflective-based program of religious formation that helps a child to further develop his/her relationship with God in a developmentally appropriate way. It is rooted in Sacred Scripture, the Liturgy, and the educational philosophy of Maria Montessori. For more information, click on the “LEARN MORE” button below.

Children’s Formation (Grades 1-5)
Faith Formation Classes are offered at Holy Spirit Church for students in grades 1-5. It is our goal to offer classes that teach children the beliefs of the Catholic Church that have been passed down from generation to generation. We want our students to understand what we believe as Christians and how to live out those beliefs.
Sacramental Preparation: First Holy Communion
Sacramental Preparation for First Holy Communion is a two-year process starting as early as 1st grade.
- Year One First Communion: This is the first year of sacramental preparation for First Holy Communion. Please register for the class you would like your child to attend.
- Year Two First Communion: This is the second year of sacramental preparation for First Holy Communion.
Faith Enriched (Grades 3-5)
These classes are for children who have already received First Communion.
In all classes, activities relevant to special feasts and seasons of the liturgical year are included in addition to the class curriculum.
